Just been looking at the new forum statistics section on the admin panel - this is great stuff, but you know how it is - the more you give people, the more they want!
Would it be possible to beak down the stats by visitor type - e.g. how many hits I'm getting from registered users, unregistered visitors and stuff like googlebots.
We added a stats section to the admin panel recently that lets you track your views, comments, and new user sign-ups. We don't have any breakdown in the views by visitor type at the moment, but I'll add that to our list of possible features and it might get implemented.
If your forum isn't gold you might not see any views prior to August of this year-- we weren't tracking that information previously.
I think it should be possible to include - on the frontpage of the forums where we got some stats today about no # of members/guest etc - to see when there where most people on the forum at the same time. That would be a good feature.
I bought a seperate Webstats counter for my forum to collect data on where users are from, how they found the forum etc, but it does not give me stats on when I got most users logged on at the same time (like many other types of Forum's gives).
