Ok - with an active board I am in desperate need of following features (shud be easy ones):
1. Search function within my activeboard (gold)
2. E-mail notificaiton when new members sign up containing e-mail, username and IP adress.
3. Admin font colour should be possible to change in order to be more visible if enganged in discussions. This should only be possilbe for Admin in my mind.

Thanks guys - in short time, you have made most of my wishes come thru!
Only missing would be i.e. possiblity as Admin to change colour on my posts + E-mail notification when new members have confirmed their e-mail/user credentials.
any way to set it up so the people that sign up dont have to get an email and than click to finnish registering... My members are hockey players and really hate to say it but to dumb to follow directions and always come to me asking me what to do and why they cant login..

Matt: if you know they've signed up, you can pick them up in the 'Pending Users' section of the User Admin menu and select 'activate user'. The only drawback with this is that the e-mail address hasn't been verified.
Webmaster Dude: Thanks for the menus, search and editing facilities. They're all excellent.
Id rather not always have to activate them though. It gets annoying and really I dont care about the email verification id like to see everyone even ppl without email addresses on ouir forum. I just think there should be an option so you dont have to have your members recieve an email.
Thanks for introducing new features to the Forums like awarding privilege of editing posts to common users etc.
May we have a set of new cool smilies on activeboards. True enough, the current ones are pretty ugly and seldome describe your mood. You may get some idea about the IN smilies nowadays from other msg boards or chat messengers. hope you do something soon, in this regard.
We've added support for basic forum tags since lots of users are accustomed to using them and confused by the html equivalents... so, for example, you can now do the following:
1) For the passwords not to be accessible to anyone but the user or forum administrator. Twice I’ve had accounts violated when someone went into the profiles, deleted the password, typed a new one and saved the changes, which then made it possible for the violator to post as that member.
2) Right now on the administration panel, IP numbers are listed in the “Log” page on the “message” file. If it’s possible, it would be convenient to have the IP numbers also displayed in the “active users” file on the “User Admin” page. That way you know exactly which IP number goes to what member.
3) A spell check option would be great.
4) Allow anonymous posting, but to have their messages pending until the administrator can approve them.
5) Improve the registration process. Too many of my users had to re-register to get a confirmation email or because they couldn’t log-in. It seems there’s a 50% chance a user’s accounts won’t activate, which may explain why I have such a great number of pending users and have to go in and activate the accounts myself. Basically, there are some bugs that need to be worked out in the registration.
6) For a webmaster to be able to custom design the forum background to match their website’s background and to have a title for their forum (such as the name of their website) at the top of the forum’s main page in big lettering.
