i think you should make a place where there are animated avatars,backgrounds,gifs,graphics and many more so sparklit members can use. i know this is unlikely to become to truw but just suggesting

I agree, I'm making a sample active board to show to my youth group for them to consider using your product, but I can't use it if it has offensive/pornographic ads being displayed.
Please seriously reconsider using them, you will only be driving people away from your products.

I would like more free advertising for our forums...  How often does someone just stumble across them?  Thanks SOOO much for making a site that allows us to do such things!  I started a fish forum!  Anyway thanx alot.


Maybe for advertising you could like cycle through all of the sub sub categories and leave them there for like 2-3 days.  Like today and the next 2 you could have some where on your home page something like:  Check out the forums in the dog section today!  there are X amount of forums that are active in this category.  ANd then after a few days do cats, then birds, then fish, then exotic pets.  You know?

It would be good if you could have a list of the mods for each forum on the main page, like for the general chat forum, after the discription you would see the names of the users in italics that are mods for that forum!????

It would be really nice to have the following feature:


- user who starts a new topic(thread) will have moderator privileges for that particular topic. The user will be able to edit and/or delete posts on its own topic.


I believe that this feature will draw more users to ActiveBoard forums. The feature does not exist on any other forums on the Internet and having it here would be really, really nice. It would give more power and control to the average user and it would give an advantage to ActiveBoard against other forum providers. It would also ease up the role of regular Moderators and Administrators.

It should says who made the last post...what time they made it...the topic name...

and when you click the topic name it takes you to the topics 1st page...

There should be a little picture next to it that when you click it takes you to the last post in that topic...

I have events on my board...like egghunts and other stupid stuff...and when they end I dont want to delete it...there should be a way I can make a forum that has the old forums that i can add to it...

When you click archive it will take you to the topics

Suggestions way do we have to have get your own forum and find otehr messaegboards because we already have a bbaner add there

You can do that in a way...

make a website and put a chatroom on it...

go to settings then go to control bar thing

go to link

and put chatroom and put the link to the chatroom

and that will work...

My wish list would be

A live chat room
The ability to upload my custom emoticons to the existing ones
I like the gender ID as well
If not a chat room capability then a built in IM would be really nice as well

A system that means you can add things like experience. You then set how much you want to give them each time they posts, and they can dish it out to other users in return for things. Like a currency sytem.


 


Also, admin should be able to add users withput providing email addresses.

I would like the ability to show location under the forum username in the forum itself. I know you can do custom title's, but under that it would be nice to show the user's location. Having a forum based on location really brought this to light, as I have users constantly asking "where are you from?".

Also a way to seperate stickies from the rest of the forum. Either stickies are bold, or thier is a seperator between them and normal post.

I did a quick photoshop of what I'm talking about.



Besides that, I can't think of anything else. Very happy with the product.
